This piece was crazy to build! I enjoyed every minute of the process (excepting maybe 6 and a half hours of grinding the blade down…) There are a few minor blemishes if you look closely. I haven’t yet earned my title as master blade-smith (maybe someday!) but I’m getting better. The main thing I’d say to anyone who wants to start doing this sort of stuff is start small! Pick a tiny, manageable project. I started with Lotr themed jewelry with aluminum scraps and bits of wire I found lying around, and glued them together with JB weld. Some of them had engraver work on them as well as I got more advanced. It takes time, practice, a little talent, and a passion for a beautiful piece of artwork.
